Primary Function:
Incumbent works under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN or LPN while caring for and skilled rehabilitation and long-term care residents and helping to maintain the work environment.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to assisting residents with ADL's such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, toileting, eating. Obtain vital signs.
High School graduate or the equivalent. Minimum of 18 years of age.
Successful completion of a State Certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
Must remain in good standing with the Nursing Assistant registry
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Overview of Physical Demands:
Work is typically indoors in a healthcare environment. Noise level is usually moderate, but may on occasion be loud
Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Physical abilities include extended periods of walking/standing and the ability to kneel, crouch and bend.
Must be able to deal with multiple interruptions. Work may be stressful when faced with multiple demands.
Must be able to talk and hear within normal ranges. Visual abilities must be correctable to normal ranges. Manual dexterity needed to operate equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
