Position Purpose & Summary
A Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory \(FSQR\) Department Supervisor II is responsible to provide training, coaching, career development and general direction for the FSQR chemist staff at a facility\. This position will be responsible for all aspects of performance management for the chemist staff\. In addition, this position may take on a variety of leadership and/or project roles within the FSQR structure at a facility or at the enterprise level\. This position often serves as a natural back up for the FSQR facility manager and can often back up other specialist roles as needed by the local organization\. The duties of the Supervisor II position would also include monitoring/ maintaining the local quality systems, and overall assuring the quality and food safety of the human/animal food products and industrial products produced meet or exceed our customer expectations\. Other support duties as assigned\.
Principal Accountabilities
30% Ensure compliance of policies ? Analyze, review, and interpret FSQR/Quality Standard policies and regulations; Implements internal, customer and supplier standards; monitors progress; and ensures plant compliance\. Provide oversight and daily management of laboratory resources and activities\. Follow up on quality deviations as appropriate\.
30% People/resource/budget management ? lead talent management for chemist, PLSC and interns in FSQR organization\. Accountable for selection, training, development, performance management, and engagement for a large number of direct/indirect reports\.
20% Develop, implement and assess process/systems ? Process improvement support, specialized testing, training, auditing of systems and performance\. Includes enterprise initiatives\.
10% Customer interaction, presentations, response to audits and issues
10% Perform miscellaneous job\-related duties as assigned\.
Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor?s degree in Science field where curriculum included 1 or more years of both general and organic chemistry and laboratory
+ 3 or more years experience in Quality, Food Safety
+ 2 or more years supervisory experience \(formal and/or informal; does not have to be direct report\)
+ Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience\. Strong ability to engage and motivate employees
+ Intermediate application of a structured, disciplined approach to planning, administering and completing projects
+ Intermediate practical knowledge of manufacturing processes & operation
+ Application of Intermediate HAACP knowledge/implementation to identify & control food safety hazards
+ Delivers intermediate FSQR processes that are aligned, effective & optimize resources
+ Deliver intermediate learning solutions that engage leaners and provide desired outcomes
+ Interface effectively with customers; ensuring products meet quality and safety standards
+ Applies basic business acumen to partner effectively with business counterparts
+ Applies basic scientific knowledge & principles to identify & manage risk
+ Apply basic auditing and quality compliance skills to identify and manage risks/compliance
+ Identify & addresses basic supplier quality issues
+ Build relationships & negotiates effectively with external groups
+ Prepare product information and documentation that meet regulatory compliance requirements
+ Ensure up\-to\-date compliance with food laws and regulations
+ Conduct and communicate results of scientific evaluations of known or potential adverse health effects resulting from human or animal exposure to food borne hazards
+ Intermediate experience managing quality standards and tools to enhance food safety and quality\.
+ Write documents in a quality program, have training systems knowledge and manage hiring standards
+ Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office software \(MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel\)
Preferred
+ 5 years of supervisory experience \(formal and/or informal; does not have to be direct report\)
+ Previous project or team leadership experience
+ Advanced Plant Manufacturing Knowledge \- Demonstrates practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations\.
+ Intermediate Supplier Quality Assurance \- Identify and address supplier quality issues\.
+ Apply advanced auditing and quality compliance skills to identify and manage risks/compliance
+ Prepare product information and documentation that meets regulatory compliance requirements\.
+ Apply intermediate knowledge of quality standards and tools to enhance food safety and quality
+ Intermediate Knowledge of Cargill Policies & Standards \- Applies CFSRA policy & standards to enhance food safety & quality

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
