SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provide assistance doing basic electrical work including drilling, wiring & conduit installation. Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, certifications, skills)
Required Skills & Experience
Basic math & reading aptitude and able to pass a math test
1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written & oral instructions
Basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical test equipment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, use hands and fingers to push, pull, carry, reach above head and lift and lower over 70 lbs. The employee may also be required to work at heights.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
